Free Will 1 The moment free will becomes a construct, its duality: predetermination comes into existence, or visa-versa. Both duality positions, as constructs or beliefs, attempt to explain and understand personal existence in reference to universal existence. If you adopt a construct position, there are excellent arguments for both sides of that construct. If you adopt a belief, the belief system contains the answers, and your investigative input is not required. In both constructs and belief it is your thinking processing intellect that makes a decision one way or the other. It is the processing intellect that makes decisions or accepts, adopts or creates beliefs and constructs, which all occur within your consciousness. No matter what avenue you take for your understanding, consciousness is the base foundation, both for your decision and how you make that decision. Without an understanding of how consciousness is formed and functions, any or all decisions will attract a duality response. It is simply the nature of a duality. The duality, in turn, can be used both as a sword and shield. It will continue like this endlessly, with opposing dualities perpetually ending up in some form of conflict, possibly leading to violence and destruction. Your belief or construct is normally held overtly or subliminally superior to another belief or construct. You may tolerate another construct or belief, but yours is usually held as superior, for you have constructed it from the wisdom evolved out of your investigations. But the other side also has constructed wisdom on its side. It is here that construct wars have their beginning and continuation as duality wars, both intellectually and physically. What is it that holds on to beliefs and constructs, sometimes with fanatical determination? It is right at this position in individual evolution where consciousness must be addressed and understood as to how it works or functions. Otherwise, duality conflict will continue its potentially endless march of destruction, impeding advancing civilization to a crawl or a full stop, eventually resulting in regression. Industrial or technological advances create an artificial sense of evolution that can potentially impair personal evolution. Technology projects itself as progress, but as its base can be set within profit for the sake of more of the same, individual progressive evolution can be sidetracked by its seductive stimulation. This results in endless new toys holding an individuals attention on new, better and best. This is entrapment. The object creates the energy of desire, which is the deceit maintaining the deception that the independent knower-I is real. The knower-I deception and deceit is the enemy, and that is within and not without. If you have not acquired an understanding of how consciousness is formed and how it functions, you will forever be led to the dead end of a duality. There you will remain, as there appears no way out or around that position. On the other side of the dead end, the other side of the duality will be there waiting for you, potentially leading you into conflict both internally and externally. It will go on this way endlessly until you make time to know how your consciousness functions, and how and why it was formed. The investigation begins not with a constructed duality of free will, but how and why your consciousness can apparently make a decision, which appears as a free will choice. Animals have consciousness as much as humans have consciousness, but animals or creatures are reactively limited to their genetic or acquired information. Humans, on the other hand, can manipulate their genetic or acquired information. The manipulation results in a language for creating ideas and ideals later formed into constructs and beliefs giving birth to the foundation of an expanding civilization through a common and knowable language. How is this possible? Why cannot animals or creatures, which also have consciousness and the ability to see and know (observer-knower of consciousness) do the same as humans? What is the difference between a creature-animal and a human-animal; or why can one animal develop language to create constructs, resulting in an evolutionary civilization, while all other animals cannot? If all animals could do what the human animal can do, it would be a very interesting planet. But they cannot, they are limited to information reaction while the human animal can manipulate that information. There is an addition or an added dimension to the human animal that makes it special and also accountable. That something special is free will. Not as a construct, but free will as a spirit pattern, allowing the knower of consciousness to make a decision by being able to manipulate its formation. That is free will: the ability to make a decision by the manipulation or processing of information, and not necessarily the decision itself. The decision is a natural offshoot of free will, as you see or know what is chosen or decided. Having the ability to make a decision or choice is what you use but cannot see. You only see the results and the results potentially become the problem. What sees (the observer of consciousness) allows what knows (the knower of consciousness) to take the producer and production as what it is. And the knower-I is born as 'I did that'. The observer-knower of consciousness becomes an accountable personality by the assimilation of the spirit pattern of free will. The knower of an animal is not accountable, as it has no ability to affect the totality. The knower of a human, assimilated with the spirit pattern of free will, is now personal and can affect the totality by its, now innate, ability to create ideas and ideals. It is the spirit pattern of free will that makes the knower a person-al entity. Free will creates personality. The knower creates a person, but free will is personality of pure observer-knower of consciousness. The spirit pattern of free will, like other spirit patterns, has always existed. But it took one evolving animal to make a decision beyond survival reaction a morally compassionate decision to attract or access the spirit pattern of free will, and the human-animal was born. From this one human-animal evolving humankind had its origins. The spirit pattern of free will is now genetically transmitted, similar to genetic instinct, through this one family to ultimately become the totality as we know it today. This first morally compassionate decision is accessing the personal nature of Absolute Consciousness that is impersonally embedded within individual consciousness. The spirit pattern of free can be considered a gift to the human-animal from Absolute Consciousness. It is a gift, but that gift also makes the new human-animal accountable. This new human can now directly or knowingly access or manipulate its own embedded nature and make a decision to act contrary to that nature. And accountability is born. The intellect one of the mind functions of consciousness is the decision-maker. Pure observer-knower of consciousness is the knowing witnessing agent, whilst the intellect is the producing agent. It is the producing intellect, holding on to the production, that begins the creation of a false I am one of the root beginnings of an independent knower-I deception. The spirit pattern of free will is amalgamated with the knower of consciousness to be as one, but the intellect artificially attaches to that spirit pattern to create a volitional thinker that feels independent, and so feels separated from its own consciousness construction. It is in the construction of consciousness where predetermination has its foundation, as it is within individual consciousness that the nature of Absolute Consciousness is embedded. If the volitional thinker accepts that it can make choices and determine the outcome of its thoughts or actions, then it accepts free will. If the volitional thinker goes deeper into its existence beyond individual existence and connects to universal existence, predetermination has more relevance than free will. Here individual consciousness witnesses the universality of personal existence in relation to universal existence. In this circumstance, free will appears to have very little to no relevance and predetermination is far more observable. From the example in the book, free will and predetermination is like a fish swimming in a river. The fish can swim from embankment to embankment, upstream, downstream or in circles. While the fish is moving wherever it chooses, the river is slowly moving toward to ocean. The fish's movement is free will, the embankments are duality and the flow to the ocean is predetermination: the nature of Absolute Consciousness. It is another one of those wonderful paradoxes, as there is both free and predetermination. The nature of Absolute Consciousness is predetermination, and individual consciousness is free will to choose predetermination or reject it, creating accountability for either decision. The decision allows the resolution energy (see the glossary) to function normally or become maladapted. When maladapted, you enter the world of personal suffering and pain on multiple levels of existence. You do it all to and by yourself, as there is no intervening force that cause or initiates it one aspect of accountability. It is a clear yes or no, there is no in-between, and no intervening or interfering force coercing a decision. Or there is absolutely no punishment or punitive capabilities within Absolute Consciousness. There is also absolutely no reward, or the reward already exists: the gift to make a choice, which is the spirit pattern of free will, amalgamated with the knower of individual consciousness. |
